PMs on this account work, too!
OOC:
Backtagging: I will backtag into forever if I can! Just poke me if I seem to have dropped something you wanted to continue--I likely did so on accident, anyway.
Threadhopping: I love threadjacking! Obviously there are occasions when this probably isn't a good idea, though, so ask when in doubt--but usually I'm fine with it!
Fourthwalling: I'm usually fine with this. Comic book characters are used to weird stuff happening to them, anyway.
Offensive subjects: I'm probably okay with it. Ask if you're not sure.
IC:
Hugging this character: Yep. She'll resist though.
Kissing this character: Go ahead. She won't like it, though.
Flirting with this character: Go for it!
Romantic interest toward this character: Sure, just don't expect reciprocation--I'm not saying it won't happen, but it's not going to be a given just because someone is interested. It's going to have to depend on how things go between the characters!
Fighting with this character: Not gonna go well for her without her familiars, but sure.
Injuring this character (include limits and severity): I love to do awful things, but I'd like it if we discussed anything beforehand. What I'll allow will be situational.
Killing this character: See above!
Using telepathy/mind reading abilities on this character: Generally gonna be a yes! Just ask me first. I need to know so I can know to give you stuff to work with, anyway.

[Hello Luceti! For the duratation of the event, two of your resident exorcists, Rin and Izumo, will be...ghostbusting?
Apparently Luceti's got quite the ghost problem, too, because they can be found all over the village, sometimes breaking into people's houses. Hope you don't mind surprise visitors with vacuums strapped to their backs.]
[Voice]
[Izumo can be heard clearing her throat at first, and when she finally speaks she sounds very grave and serious.]
It seems we have a serious problem with spirits possessing people in Luceti. With that in mind, my partner Rin Okumura and I urge you to please contact us about any suspected possessions in town and arrange for a meeting with us. Some of the symptoms to look out for include:
1. Changes in personality, usually consisting of the person in question becoming quieter.
2. A generally active person starting to isolate themself.
3. Changing sleep patterns.
That goes particular for people who’re sleepin’ less. Staying up all night’s a big indica- sign!
[Izumo’s tone suddenly takes a turn towards annoyed, and she continues as if she’s trying to talk over any further interruptions from Rin.]
4. Changes in behavior, usually leaning towards more hostile actions.
This next one’s important-
5. a preference for eating pancakes.
[There's a small pause to allow that one to sink in before Izumo continues.]
6. Going long stretches of time without blinking.
7. Appearing catatonic.
8. Disappearing feet.
[Rin appears to be piping up to say something else here, but there’s a thump and he whines in slightly exaggerated pain, silencing him]
9. Objects seeming to move about by themselves.
10 Objects disappearing and never reappearing.
11. Objects disappearing and being found in another location later.
12. Objects disappearing and later being found in their original spots.
13. Objects not disappearing at all.
So if you see anyone with those signs, or you’re experiencing them yourself, call us! We’ll be sure to work it out so everyone’s okay!
And don't blame us if you keep this kind of thing to yourself and it ends badly for you.
[ooc: the action part is joint between Izumo and Rin (
rashness ) so it’ll be three-ways and can take place pretty much any time during the event. The voice part will be mostly Izumo with some interchanging stuff. If you want to make up your own possessions (in relation to the voice part) feel free because we’d love to roll with stuff.]

[When Izumo finds herself back in the village post-mallynap, the first thing she does is head home--she'll talk to Rin and Shiemi if they're around, but regardless she doesn't wind up staying too long. Why? Because after searching the house, she's come to realize that the fox kit she got for Christmas is missing. Hoping he hadn't been gone for too long or gotten too far, she'll wander the village asking people if they've seen a tiny gray fox in town lately.]
[Later in the day Izumo sits in her room, making sure to keep the fox close now that she's retrieved him--after a lot of searching, she found him with Ran Fan.]
I've had a long day and I don't think going to the library would do me much good anyway, so I'm just going to ask--does anyone know what kinds of foods are best to eat when you can't smell?
[Izumo lets out a sigh, pausing for a minute as the baby fox tries to crawl up her and onto her shoulder...which frankly wouldn't make a very good perch for him.] Get down...
[Grabbing him and placing him in her lap, she returns her focus to her journal.]
...Anyway, before anyone stupid asks? Yes, smell and taste are connected.

[Anyone that frequents the library may have noticed a girl with unusual eyebrows hanging around lately. As invested in her studies as she is, Izumo's certainly not taking her stay in Luceti as an opportunity to slack.
...But not everything she's been reading has been related to her studies. Today Izumo is trying to stealthily grab some potentially embarrassing romance novels...and she probably won't take kindly to being asked about it. Of course, her awkward attempts to keep anyone from seeing her book stash don't exactly scream inconspicuous.]
[Voice]
So I've heard a few things about the spirits you can learn magic from here, but I haven't really talked to anyone that's been able to give me a lot of details. Is there anyone with firsthand experience with that kind of stuff that'd be willing to answer a few questions, or...?

[It's morning when a sopping wet and shivering Izumo first wanders into the village, having fallen in the river. As confused and pissed as she is about showing up here--and the whole "suddenly having wings" thing--the first thing on her mind is changing out of the dress she woke up in and into something dry. She's still very much on her guard, though, and definitely doesn't plan on approaching anyone for help.
It doesn't take long for her to realize that people are taking things out of the shops without paying for them, so she starts to search through them for something to wear. The only way to find out if she can get away with just taking something like everyone else is to try, she supposes.]
[Voice]
So, these journals...I'd like some information about them. Can anyone give me a better explanation for how they work than "it's magic"? [She's not really doubting that they are, but she wants details.] Surely someone has to know something.
I'd also like to know anything you can tell me about the creatures that live here.
